Hey guys,
I've recently tried getting Terraria to work, following this excellent guide. Running the Windows version of Steam, I got it to work through POL with no problems (when I actually paid attention to everything it said in the guide that is!)

That was last night (well, the wee hours of this morning), but when I turned on my computer this morning, launched Steam and pressend Play on Terraria I was greeted with nothing but a black screen.

The music worked, and clearly the game was running in the background because I could hear the clicks as I ran my mouse over the menu items, but nothing could be seen.

My system specs:
AMD Athlon quad core CPU
AMD Radeon HD 6570 GPU
Running Ubuntu Studio 12.10 (pretty sure) 64 bit with the lowlatency kernel

I've tried removing and reinstalling Terraria twice, but no luck. Tried to find the config file in case putting it back to default settings (I did mess with the resolution etc. first time) might bring it back to life, but cannot for the life of me find it.

I have changed no system settings since the game worked last night. Literally turned off the computer when I finished playing, and first thing I did when I started back up was lauch Terraria.

So yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, really weird - I turned on my second monitor so I could have the debug window in one and the black screen in the other (I usually have it disabled because it messes with some of my games), and for some reason Terraria works now!

Still, not an ideal solution. As I said, dual monitors messes up more games than it works with on my system, but maybe it can give a clue as to what's going on?

Oh, and if someone can tell me how to cut and paste from the debug window, that would be great haha!

You just right-click in the debug window.
