I closed any desktop affects I may have opened. The game has an active menu not just flat graphic user interface. The problem is that once I run the game it has glitches that aren't specifically with the keyboard. Like logging in and choosing game was smooth and without difficulty. Then... When I open the menu in game shows black, the textures are a little uppity and shift in odd ways time to time. The game it self doesn't lag. The textures corrects itself after a few seconds or so (this includes the menu) . Every other is fixed thankfully. I wonder could it be the game settings ...

Hmmmmm. Have you looked the game up on the AppDB on winehq.org? There could be an entry for it.

Could you click the Debug button and post up the results in there for that game? Im interested to see what the error output is.

Also, what you could do, is open up a Terminal (usually in accessories in your program menu) and run:

playonlinux

and then run the game like normal. The terminal will stay open, and output all sorts of information, including errors. This will greatly help.

I think you are misunderstanding the meaning of "desktop effects". Im not talking about widgets or anything like that. Im talking about desktop effects, as in wobbly windows, expo view, desktop cube, 3d windows, open/close window animations (like when they shrink or grow when you close or open them.)

I don't like any special affects. To make sure I don't have any running in the background I have task manager and used command to see if any processes are running a desktop in the background. Though when I lowered the texture settings in game it fixed all the missing textures, and let me play comfortably. Though today the game is yet again in it's slow speed.

Hmm. I wonder what is changing between boots to do that.
