Hello everyone,

I looked up the forum but couldn't find anything useful about this topic, so I thought I asked here by myself.

I'm running Linux Mint version 14 32 bit with Xfce desktop. The wine version is 1.4.1 and playonlinux is 4.1.1.

I've downloaded the ragnarok client from http://www.ragnarokeurope.com and installed it with POL. The installation process went well and when I started the patcher it worked everything.

But when I click play nothing really happens. So I looked up the task manager. The patcher starts the Ragexe.exe but it doesn't stay open. It just pops up in the process list and after a few seconds it's gone.

Did anyone of you had the same problem or an idea how to solve this problem?

First, you should upgrade to the newest stable version of PlayOnLinux first. Its quite out of date.

You might not have the correct libraries or drivers for 3d acceleration. You may need to import the d3d or even directx in general. Perhaps install .NET. with it using POL.

First, we need some general info on your setup:

CPU?
RAM?
Video Card?
Open source or proprietary video drivers?
Errors from PlayOnLinux (run playonlinux from a terminal and give us the output when it fails)
