hello,

today a new steam patch where released. I want to play Torchlight 2 with playonmac. so I started my steam and steam beginns to update after a while this error appears:

steam failed to remove temporary unzip folder

i downloaded the newest version of wine and playonmac. reinstalled steam but this error appears.

I hope you can help me.

Same issue here as well. Had just purchased Torchlight 2, blissed out for 2 hours of gameplay, and now a steam update issue.

I think so. please fixed this.

Shot in the dark:
Could it be that some unzipping routines misinterpret environment variables (I'm specially thinking of $TEMP or $TMP or similar variables) coming from the OS/X environment?
I kind of remember a similar problem...

An automated bug report, that will contain technical informations including environment variables, could be useful.

For me, I'm able to run Steam on OSX with PlayOnMac without any problems :S

Same here. I'm starting to think that this is a general problem.
