Torchlight 2 gets stuck "Installing DirectX for Windows"

I just installed POM to play torchlight 2, and every time I run it I get painfully low FPS. I have run it on a dual boot of Windows and it plays fine, tried changing resolution and all that standard stuff to no avail. Any suggestions on getting the game to run more smoothly?

Late 2011 17" Macbook Pro
Wine 1.5.21
2.3GHz Core i7
 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB Graphics Card
Lion 10.7.5

Figured it out, for some reason if I disable GLSL support it is all great!

New problem just popped up. TL2 was working fine for a few days but now won't get past the Steam loader. When I click play it tells me "Performing first time set up: Installing DirectX for Windows (step 1 of 1)" and never moves past that screen.

hi there. have you fixed the problem with installing directX for windows stuck? i have the same problem too... .:///

You have to manually install the DirectX 9 and 10 dlls in PlayOnMac, then when you launch it it will say "Unable to find correct runtime" or something like that, and the game will run.
