Hello all, long time lurker first time poster.

I installed steam through playonlinux, works great. I then installed Medieval 2 Total War through steam and have had some issues.

The game launches fine but the graphics are broken i.e. there are a few different splits across the screen and the images are repeated and/or flipped upside down rendering the game unusable.

- I installed d3dx9 without a hitch, but am not sure whether it is working.
- I installed dotnet35 which was super glitchy and kept giving me error messages about how wine has failed etc.

I am pretty sure that there is something messed up with the DX, but am not an expert. i am a recent convert to ubuntu and a total noob at that. For reference I am running 12.10 ubtunu, 1.5.10 wine, and use  a system 76 gazp8 intel HD graphics 4000 if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks in advance for the help and sorry for the long windedness.
