Hey folks,

A quick question from a newbie: Can I play the games I have already installed on my Windows drive?

Also, I keep hearing to install Internet Explorer 8 with "winetricks" but don't quite get what is to be actually done.

I would really appreciate if someone could please elaborate.

Thanks!

Hi,

To the first question, this is not supported, you should reinstall.

About the second question, we do not use winetricks; But you get "components" that provide similar functionality, for the most common needs:

Configure button > (select virtual drive) > Install components tab > Internet Explorer 8

Thanks a lot for the quick reply!

I have a bunch of other errors, but found someone who was in the same boat as me and has solved the problem (http://www.playonmac.com/en/topic-9507-Unable_to_find_32bits_OpenGL_libraries.html)
