Good day guys, It is my first day on this forum, it looks nice, good on you.
1- Here it goes. I am trying to install itunes 7 via Playonlinux, it does install but there are some errors.
2- When I try to run the itunes from the Play on linux I get this out:
Error in main iTunes 7 crashed. Click on debug link to get more details.
3- When I go to the debug I have this information:
[12/29/12 08:19:51] - Running wine- iTunes.exe (Working directory : /home/davi/.PlayOnLinux) err:process:init_windows_dirs directory L"C:\\\\windows" could not be created, error 2 err:process:init_windows_dirs directory L"C:\\\\windows\\\\system32" could not be created, error 3 wine: cannot find L"C:\\\\windows\\\\system32\\\\iTunes.exe"
4- What I did so far: I made some research about it but nothing that would solve my specific problem. My first try was to delete play on linux and install it again via apt-get. It seems I need to create C:\\\\windows\\\\system32 If that is the case I do not know how to generate this file into wine.
5- Software and hardware I am using:
-Playonlinux 4.1.8 (I am sure it is for ubuntu 12.04 precise pangolin) -Ubuntu 12.04 (The only operational system on my laptop) -Gnome 3 -Laptop Toshiba Satelite L300
Thank you guys in advance for your time and effort.

Hi, Those directories are created automatically, so something is deeply broken in your setup (no disk space? problem of rights?) Anyway, why not go with iTunes 10 instead? (In testing) And more generally, to avoid wasted efforts, why do you want to install iTunes?

@mpvick: forget it, Wine doesn't implement USB.
