Hi there. I'm barely getting used to Linux, but anyways here's the situation. My distribution is currently "Elementary OS".  It's up to date as well.

I installed POL on another laptop and installed GW2 from within in. I even watched a YouTube video on how to do it correctly. Needless to say, at the end the laptop really couldn't handle GW2. So then my other gaming laptop became available, and I got a external hard drive, copied GW2.exe and GW2.dat, and then transferred those 2 items to my gaming laptop which also runs the same Elementary OS.

However, since I don't want to download 16GB worth of data again, is there any way that I can make my transferred GW2 files work, or will I be forced to download all 16GB again?

Thanks for your help!

Run the POL installation script and then just replace the gw2.dat file.
