Hi guys,
First of all. Playonlinux is really good. I am running a Xubuntu 12.04 Precise and the latest version of Playonlinux.
Now, I have installed MS Office 2010 following the instruction on Playonlinux's install new program. Everything seems to install well. However, when I open Powerpoint, the application crashes a few seconds later. Here is the debug log:

I was experiencing the same problem as you guys, my Powerpoint 2010 refused to start (using Ubuntu 12.04 and Wine 1.5.21). The solution that worked for me was executing "winetricks gdiplus riched20 riched30 msxml3 msxml4 msxml6 corefonts tahoma vb6run vcrun6" in the terminal. Although the installation of the package msxml4 didn't succeed, I was able to start Powerpoint. Hope this helps.

I tried executing "winetricks .....". Everything was executed perfectly except MSXML4. However my problem still exists. Is there anything specific that I need to provide here to help understand the problems?

We dont support winetricks at all. Im sorry. Mixing winetricks and POL installs is not supported, either.

Try deleting the virtual drive and try the install script again. There is a chance that not everything downloaded correctly and therefor didnt install right.
