I'm stuck at calculating differences.

Wine version: 1.5.3-LeagueOfLegends
Wine version: 1.5.5-LeagueOfLegends
Wine version: 1.5.12-lol (from http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=39529)
Distribution: Arch Linux
Distribution version: up to date
Graphics card: Nvidia, geforce 8600M
Graphics card driver: 304.43-1
Comments:  I've installed the game via the playonlinux installer.
The first time it started up and patched succesfully, however I was not able to login. After restarting the client the launcher is now stuck at "Calculating differences". Deleting the folder RADS/projects/lol_air_client temporarily fixes the problem, however, I do have to download and patch 500MB and after another restart the problem reoccurs.

A friend of mine tested this on Arch Linux 32 bit and has the same behaviour.

Any ideas on how to solve this? And there any solutions to the login not working?

I have the same problem, try to close and restart the client a few time... For me this work :)
