Hello,

So i have searched on google and on this site for answers and have come up empty handed.

I am using Linux Ubuntu Precise 12.04. I have installed PoL and the Leage script. I have installed multiple versions of wine 1.5.3 to 1.5.5 for League and a bunch in between. I have my region set to North America. I literally have dove head first into new Os coming from windows so putting together this is very tough for me and i have become lost. I want to succed please help me here is the debug log.

Basically, I open PoL. I click Lol and click the run button. Launcher comes up and all is well patches applied nicely and then login comes (crap). I put in my credidentials and hit Play. Instantly it says WINE CRASH - Invalid perameters. and doesnt let me go any further ive never had the game working yet after 4 days of trying i dont know what else to do.

Thanks in advance and a cookie to whoever helps me figure this one out!

The line that sticks out to me is this:
p11-kit: couldn't load module: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/pkcs11/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.so:

Looks like you need to install the gnome keyring ... whatever that is. ;)

I will look into it when i get home.

The site i am looking at to possibly do this from is:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/gnome/gnome-keyring.html

What i DO NOT understand still is the GNOME-Keyring seems to be involved with passwords. Now it makes sense since its involved with erroring while i am logging in.

On the other hand does this GNOME-Keyring play a role in Wine user/pw authentication or just on the Ubuntu level.

I really try to understand the whole Linux thing but it is pretty stressful lol.

I know what you mean about picking up Linux. I just began using it myself. Most users use abbreviations like I'm supposed to know what the hell Gip is why it is so cool that his script is using it.

I hate the old DOS window environment, I hate scripts, and I hate all these abbreviations. But the simplicity of Ubuntu / Unity along with PlayOnLinux is cool. Boy I could use more help on how to "script" Eve Online though.

Hi,
An issue with the version of wininet introduced on August 15th has been fixed, that should work better now (if you want to avoid reinstalling, you can try installing the wininet package again in LeagueOfLegends virtual drive).
