Hey guys, I'll try and explain this as best as I can.

I have two hard drives. I'm doing a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 on a fresh hard drive.
Now considering how large my POL Prefixes are, and many of the resources that the inbuilt winetricks downloader downloads, I'm not looking to start over.

Is there any way of moving my PlayOnLinux install directly over to the new Hard Drive? If so what directories/files/etc do I have to back up?

Previously I didn't have a good experience trying to transfer over my old WineVersions and Resources to a new install, So I'm a bit hesitant to do it again.

Thanks in advance.

You can simply move .PlayOnLinux folder in the second hard drive, but the latter need to be ext3/ext4 formatted, or at least support unix permissions

Also keep in mind that if you do change your UID, to do a sudo 'chown -R username.groupname ~username/.wine/' or you will run into issues. I have to do this ever time since I actually will not only reformat, but swap usernames so I can go one hidden dir at a time for the ones that matter and ensure that I don't run into issues. Some apps are less awesome from a code quality standpoint than others :( I haven't had any issues with POL yet, but wow, there have been some doosies in the past. I remember a fun one with Pidgin (before the name pidgin was chosen).
