When I installed Risen 2 using the POL testing installer it installed WINE version 1.5.3. The game ram, but without camera movement. So I installed Wine 1.4-rc4-raw3 and restarted! And Viola! The game worked.
Wine version: 1.4-rc4-raw3 Distribution: Ubuntu Distribution version: 12.04 (precise) x64 Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 560 Ti Graphics card driver: 295.40
The game runs well on ultra, but I used these tweaks: GLSL=enabled, Off Screen Renderer= fbo, Multisampling=enabled, Direct Draw Renderer= Opengl, and video memory size= 1024 (your card memory). Thank you -Dlambert
Edit: I can confirm the artifacts stated in the testing installer about menus and chests not working. Edited by dlambert

The game is unplayable. Once you reach a spot where you have to change clothes the menu artifacts prohibit this.

Well I reported the Bug to wine: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30727 because I thought that would be the best thing to do! I hope for the best!

Mmmh, you created 7 extra instances of the game in their bugtracker? http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=14177

Hi coxtor, I would be really glad if you could post some instructions on how to do the patch thing and use POL for playing this game. Best would be if you could provide a patched version of wine which could be downloadable via pol wine-management. Best Regards, André
