Hello. I just installed PlayOnLinux, and whenever I try and open it, it never opens.

I go to the application menu, search for it, and then click on it, and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

I am running Ubuntu 11.10 if that helps

When I try and run it in the terminal, I get this

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "mainwindow.py", line 30, in <module>
import wx
ImportError: No module named wx
/usr/share/playonlinux/playonlinux: line 96: python2.6: command not found

Is python installed on your system?

Yeah, I think so. It says I have python installed in synaptic, and I can run other things that require it.

What version of python and wxpython should I have installed?

python-wxgtk2.8 is fine.

For your information, I had the same problem after upgrading to ubuntu 12.04 (beta). The issue was the one explained on that thread : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=11872013

However, I never had this problem on 11.10. Maybe it won't work for you.
