Hello! I have been using POL for a long time now - it's great!
But now I installed version 4.0.12 and I cannot assign the wine version to an application anymore!

From the frequent problems thread:

c) Download the latest available Wine version
-go to Tools->Manage Wine versions
-select version with highest available number in the "Available Wine Versions:" frame
-press +Add and wait until it's downloaded
-switch to My Applications tab
-select your application in "My Applicatons:" frame
-select downloaded Wine version in "Version:" combobox
-press Close

But I don't have any "My Applications" tab anymore!!
Is this a regression or a bug?
Is there a workaround to do that manually?

plz help,
thx

It's neither a regression, nor a bug ;)

You can assign your wineversion in "Configure" window

so obvious, I apologize for a stupid question, just missed it for hours ...

Ok, I see now why:

I am using Kubuntu and for some strange reason the program window of playonlinux doesn't show the "configure" button (and all other buttons to the right ...)

There must be a problem with the display manager.

I login to GNOME and see: NO PROBLEM!

strange, but thx anyways ...

Maybe your window is too small ?

True! But when I resize, the window doesn't show more content but only grey area ...

so even when scaling to fullscreen I only get a very small content area ...
there must be a problem with KDE handling the application.

Is POL a gtk2 application or do I need some additional packages to show it in Kwin started by KDM?

thx, p.
