The script works great. It dowloads the client automatically. At the end of the installation, the download is stopped, don't worry everything is fine ^^.

Thx Tinou for your test

Beginning from wine 0.9.50 GuildWars nice work without annoying mouse bug.

today I've tested it some hours with 0.9.55, all is perfect, so i think that script don't have to assign GW to 0.9.46

The installer always tell me that my CD-Rom can't be found.
Everything is mounted on the right place and accessible, dunno what causes the problem.

Using Ubuntu Hardy.

Same problem on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, "Guild Wars Disc 1" shows up in the list, but can't be found. The others don't work either.

What I did after reading this thread is install it on Wine instead by typing "wine " (with the space) in the terminal and dragging the .exe into it. Press enter and it runs, when it asks for CD 2, you can switch without problems.

I don't know if I'm missing out on any advantage from installing it through PoL, but at least it works :)

Disclaimer: I'm a noob, not a dev; my advice is only a guess.
Attention : Je suis aussi noob que vous, prenez mes suggestions avec un grain de sel ;)

You can always isntall and play guild wars without installing it with CDs.
Net install work always - I'm using it now.
