I am currently running ubuntu 11.04 with wine version 1.1.2 and I encounter the following problem when trying to launch Baldur's Gate II

The program wants to access my cd rom drive, which it cannot find, therefore the game fails to launch.

The game itself have been installed from a DVD-Rom version and I still have the DVD-rom so it is just a matter of figuring out how to make the program look in the right place for the data. Could someone give me some pointers on how to set the cd-rom drive path for the program?

Wine do not (and will never) handle copy protection systems disigned for windows kernel, that's why your game complain about the DVD.

You will have to disable thoses protections but, due to european laws we cannot help you with this, you have to find yourself what to do.
