Hello-

I have been scouring the interweb tring to figurout a way to play the '93 MS Dos game Pirates! Gold on my new Macbook. I have tried many things and even found a way to play the game but without saving it.

I have now used this great program to convert and install the game but to this location.

"C:\\Program Files\\DOSgames\\Pirates! Gold"

It even created a .Ink short cut on my desktop. The problem is I cant find my "C:" in order to make my way through the folders to open my game.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am just totally lost in all this mess and would do anything to play this game.

thanks in advance for everything.

Is it a MSDOS game ?

Then you might try dosbox

Thanks for responding.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I have downloaded about 3-4 different formats of the game. One works with some type of NES emulator thingy, but wont save. The other works on DOSBox, but wont save, and the other which I am trying to open with POM is made for WIN32.

When I run the .exe through POM It brings up the install screen just like back in '95 and installs it to the location above but then I have no Idea where then to find that because I dont know where POM is mounting my new "C:" drive. That is my issue.

Thanks again though for at least trying and for the response.
