hi there, i was just wondering if there was a way to update playonmac rather than having to uninstall everything and reinstalling it? i know there must be an easy way which i just dont know of =P. thanks in advanced!

The easier way is to download the latest .app from our download page, and erase the old one. Your games won't be lost

There is another quicker way to update PlayOnMac, but you need to install a package called "git". It's more for developers

erase meaning deleting the programm but not uninstalling? the reason i was wondering was because when i tried to replace the playonmac app, it said something was in use, stupidly though i didnt note what it was. il try again if theres a new update, thanks for the fast reply!!

Yep,

If you uninstall, it will also uninstall your windows apps
If you just move PlayOnMac.app to trash, it will keep your windows apps
