I try to install Steam but it never completes because I get this error window:

Wine could not find a Gecko package which is needed for applications embedding HTML to work correctly. Wine can automatically download and install it for you.

Pressing Install brings up a progress bar that seems to load for 5-10 seconds, then I receive the same message above, all over again. I've repeated this dozens of times and the result is the same.

I've now tested and gotten this error on Sabayon Linux, Fedora Linux, and Kubuntu..

The strange thing part is that in kpackagemanager, I clearly see the "wine-gecko" package is installed

[EDIT] Okay, I just restarted my computer, and tried again. This time, it worked, at least on my Kubuntu installation. This is very strange. But I guess that solves this problem! :p
