Hello,
I'm failing at installing MSOffice 2010 from the installation script provided with POL.
When browsing around I see others have faced more or less the same issues.
Before going any further, would (some) people who have successfully installed and run MS Office parts under POL can report their success or possibly tricks?
Thank you in advance.
FYI, my config (from playonlinux --debug) is (in French, but info is there):
Votre système : GNU/Linux
Votre noyau : Linux 2.6.38-11-generic-pae
Langue système : fr_FR.UTF-8
Votre nom d'utilisateur : laurent
Nom de votre ordinateur : x301
Votre carte graphique : Mesa DRI Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset GEM 20100330 DEVELOPMENT x86/MMX/SSE2
Votre distribution : Ubuntu
Version de votre distribution : 11.04
Version Wine actuelle : wine-1.2.2
Version Wine utilisée par PlayOnLinux : wine-1.2.2
+ I use "standard" POL from 'deb http://deb.playonlinux.com/ natty main'
Thank you

well, the Wine App-DB says that they couldnt get it to work, but you might try a higher version of wine (1.3.25 maybe?), and see if that gets you further within the installation.
Other than that, i have to say, i haven't tried to install it, as im happy with LibreOffice.

Hi,
Thx for your quick reply. I will try.
For the moment, I'd like to let others possibly report success with the "out-of-the-box" configuration from Ubuntu 11.04. If any...
Cheers.
