Trying to get silent hunter 5 to work on my os x 10.6.5. Install went "ok" but not sure it worked. It said something about a problem at the end but finished anyway. The game updated itself upon starting but never really started. Got a crash and dont know what's wrong.
winehq says it should run fine.

Try the following things :

- Uninstall Silent Hunter 5 (we restart from scratch)
- Open PlayOnMac debugguer
- Type the following commands
export WINEPREFIX="$REPERTOIRE/wineprefix/sh5"
wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
bash winetricks vcrun2008 vcrun2005 d3dx9 dotnet20

- Click PlayOnMac install button
- Click Manual install link (left bottom hand corner)
- Click Forward
- Edit an existing app
- Select "sh5"
- Continue to install your game

OK,

I am now stuck on this application. I have just downloaded and installed PlayOnMac, and followed exactly what is mentioned above. Now when I run the game I get the following message:

"An internet connection is required to play this game. Failed to connect to the Ubisoft master servers. Please verify that your internet connection is functional and try again."

I have been trying this all day and now becoming very frustrated, can anyone help me with this.

Regards,

Richard
