Slt,
J'ai installer Kubuntu 7.10 sur mon Dell Inspiron 1521 et je n'ai pas de son !
(mais quand je dis pas c'est vraiment rien ...)
Mais bon j'ai pas non plus toutes les touches de mon clavier et je n'ai pas non plus l'accélération 3D avec mon ATI ...
En bref j'ai pas grand chose (si le wifi grâce à Don et Tinou ) ...
Si vous pouvez m'aider ça serais sympa !
Surtout le son pour le moment !
Sinon pendant que j'y suis les nouveaux drivers ATI marche bien ?
Parce-que j'ai toujours eu des Nvidia donc ça me concerné pas mais là avec le portable je le deviens ...
Si oui quelqu'un peux me dire simplement la démarche à suivre ou un liens vers un tutorial car j'en ai trouvé plein mais il sont long, pas toujours récent et en plus y a pas la série X1200 donc je rame dans l'inconnu ...

Donc si chez toi ils ne marchent pas bien tu ouvre envy et tu fais installer manuellement, 8.40.4

Alors j'ai du neuf :
1) Envy n'est pas très stable d'après ce que j'en ai lus ... avec ma chance je préfère pas trop essayé !
Y-a-t-il pas une autre solution ?
2) Panzer merci pour ton liens c'est "presque" çà mais les paquetages je les trouves pas dans adept ...
En plus j'y comprend rien dans adept j'ai 2 lanceurs différents pour 2 fenêtres différentes mais avec le même nom :s

A mon avis, il faut activer les dépots universe et multiverse.
Montre nous le contenu de /etc/apt/sources.list

Ou le dépot backport.tu as cliqué sur le nom du paquet? il y a une lien apt.
Mais je crois aussi que les dépots ne sont pas activés si tu n'y arrives pas.
Sinon pour envy, j'ai pas eu de problèmes perso.

Bon ben j'ai décommenté les lignes manuellement, colle-ça dans ta liste , fais sudo apt-get update et dis nous si ca marche:

Ok pas de problème le son je préfère même ! C'est plus important pour le moment !
