I have download the latest version on the site.

But when I launch it I have the message where It don't detect 3D.

$ glxinfo | grep direct
direct rendering: Yes
GL_ARB_draw_buffers_blend, GL_ARB_draw_indirect,
GL_EXT_Cg_shader, GL_EXT_depth_bounds_test, GL_EXT_direct_state_access

I also re-merge mesa and mesa-progs

What is my mistake ?

I am having the same issue as you spy20 its giving me the same warning no 3D is enabled

glxgears is running at a good frame rate as shown below so not sure whats up with play on linux saying no 3D. Any suggestions as to what next to check ? anyone !

forgot to mention i am on Debian linux by way of aptosid distribution and using nVidia graphics card GT 9600 with nVidia driver 275.09.07
also using PlayOnLinux 3.8.12
kernel version 2.6.39 any help to get play on linux going would be great

Well, it's just a bug. glxinfo write two lines instead of one, so POL thinks 3D is not available.

Just ignore this message, it will not change anything. Anyway we're going to fix the problem in PlayOnLinux 4

I went forward with my game install and yes you were right all works well so for other getting same message if you know for a fact your 3D is working just ignore warning message as Tinou says and just plow through with your game install it should just work fine
