Question on WoW installation

Salutations!

I am completely new to POL, and just beginning to learn how to use Linux. In other words, I'm a neophyte. I am trying to convert from Windows to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx).

On Windows, I have a completely patched version of WoW, with all the addons that I use. After I do the install of WoW Vanilla (from CD) using POL, can I simply copy all the files from my Windows folder to the POL WoW folder? Or do I have to install BC, WotLK, and Cataclysm from CD and then patch up to current code?

I'm assuming that my Addons folder can be copied over with no problems. Please advise if that is not the case.

My thanks for any and all help.

I forgot to add: I really like POL. I was able to install Steam with no problems.
