Issues with sound in POL

Hi!

For some reason I can't play sounds in games with POL, nor can I play music in spotify. In spotify it says that something is wrong with my sound card and it seems nothing can recognize my sound card. When I run it in Wine without POL it runs just fine, but it just won't work in POL even if I set the winever as 'System'.

When I go to winecfg in POL and then Sound and click the button "Test Sound" I just get a box saying "Audio test failed!".

Anyone know what to do?

Thanks,
Denieru

Try to change the audio driver in winecfg

When I use 'System' as winever I can change to ALSA from OSS which works... But when I use for example 1.3.14 via POL I don't get any drivers other than OSS.

And what about the other versions in POL ?

Quote from Tinou
It's the same for all of them (I suppose), even tried 1.2.

When I've installed a new version and set that as winever for steam and then go to winecfg → Sound I get a box saying
"Found driver in registry that is not available, remove "alsa" from registry? [Yes] [No] [Cancel]"

No matter what I click I'm then left with an unchecked OSS-driver in the list, and checking it doesn't enable sound.

So the problem seems to be that the winevers I download from POL can't use alsa driver for some reason.. It worked perfectly a couple of days ago.

Hi,
I've looked on this problem.
It was effectively a problem on our builds, should be fixed in the following hours.

Thanks for reporting.
