Warning: I just switched to Linux, gimme a break.

Hello there! I just switched to Linux a few days ago, and I'm wondering how I can get Call of Duty 4 working with PlayOnLinux.

I did the installation step by step, and when it was done. I'd run CoD4 and.. nothing. On occasion I'd get as far as a black screen, but then it locked up and I had to reboot.

So, after getting no help on Google, I'll come here with my list of demands.

I want to:
- Install it and get it working (duh).
- Patch it to 1.7 (PlayOnLinux asks me for a patch, but I can only give the 1.0-1.6 before I get to install 1.7).
- Get it working with a NoCD crack.
- Find a way to connect to a private server (I lost my serial code, I swear).

I know this is a bit much to ask for, but I decided instead of discretely asking each question over the next few weeks, I'd do it all at once.

Thanks in advance,
Shodex

EDIT: Oh how embarrassing, my first post is in the wrong topic. Gosh, way to make a good first impression. :(

Hi. I moved your topic and wanted to let you know that even if your reasons are legit (which I am not contesting), PoL cannot assist you as far as no-cd cracks and other illegal materials are concerned. For the rest, as you can see right under this, I'm not a scripter so I'll leave it to someone else. Good luck!

P. S. Don't forget to post your specs to help the troubleshooting.
