Hi! could someone help me please, When ill try to install Starcraft 2 with CD-Room I meet this error "Error: Unable to find the CD-ROM!", sooo I tried to download the client from blizzard site and tried to install that way but sadly ill meet this window when the starcraft 2 downloader starts:

"The program Starcraft_2_EU_en-GB.exe Has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We apologize for the inconvenience.

this may have caused the error in the program or a Flaw in wine. You can search http://appdb.winehq.org for tips how to run this program."

I really want to play sc2 :cry: Bdw I use Linux mint 9.

the DVD error is caused by the fact POl test an HIDDEN file, unhide by the sudo commnd you must type before, so begin to investigate this way, you must have failed to copy the complete command.

For the DD exe error, I don't know, i've tried with BOTH DVD (DVD structure is always the same, no matter the country) and fr_FR DD version and all ran fine...

Sadly i'm an airhead so I couldn't understand what you typed, But shouldn't I type the command like this:^^:??
sudo unmount /media/SC2-L100-D1 && sudo mkdir -p /media/PlayOnLinux/ && sudo mount -o ro,unhide,uid=1000 /dev/sr0 /media/PlayOnLinux/ ; exit

Okay, I think I did do the right thing now I used some ls command and I got this:

marcus@marcus-desktop ~ $ ls /media/SC2-L100-D1
Installer.exe StarCraft II Installer.app

Or maybe I should evolve the ls command a little?:^^:

use "ls" after the POL sudo command for this game, this will unhide the main files of the DVD. That's what I need.

I somehow managed to install the game yesterday. But now I can't start it D:
Now I get an blizzard error report that say :

"ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
occurred at 0073:6963B6C5. The memory at '0xFFFFFFFF' could not be read."
and then alout of random numbers and ect.

But sometimes it's freezing my comp so I need to restart it. :(
