Hey, I'm having some slight issues with running StarCraft 2 through PoL on my laptop. I'd appreciate any help. :)
Here's what I'm working with:
- Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid)
- GNOME: 2.30.2
- Kernel: 2.6.32-24-generic
- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 512MB
- StarCraft II, Wine 1.3.1 and 1.2-rc7
No errors visually appear. Running in Virtual Desktop mode screen just stays black but the cursor appears. The game runs without Virtual Desktop, but it's slightly buggy with my Docky. It throws the screen off and I am unable to alt-tab.
Like I said, any help would be appreciated!

ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 512MB That's your problem.
It can be kinda solved like this :
-Set game shaders to LOW.
-Adding nopat option (in grub) to kernel arguments to fix missing in-game letters.

Hi Raziel,
I went into fullscreen mode and turned all graphics to the lowest possible settings. I haven't tried the nopat option yet, since I'm unable to even see the login screen at this point.
Were you referring to the game settings with the game shaders, or another option that I'm completely missing?
Thanks!

I was referring to game settings yes.
The only advice I can give you is to make sure you use the latest possible driver and if after that it still do not work I don't know what to do, sorry...
