I've been having troubles with AoE so I completely uninstalled and reinstalled everything. This includes the 114 AoE and 103 AD patch.

Unfortunately, this didn't help anything. I open AD with PlayOnLinux, and it hangs on the splash screen.

Asian Dynasties is using Wine 1.1.34 with overrides of
*msvcrt (native, builtin)
devenum (native)
msxml4 (native)
quartz (native)

I have no idea how to get wine output through PoL; I'd put it here otherwise.

Please can anyone help? I'm sick of this bullshit not working. First it works, then it doesn't. What the fuck?

Well yeah know what? It works. I have no idea how or why. I just restarted my computer (for the 14th or so time) and it just worked. Maybe I didn't do a restart after the installation. That's the only thing I can think of. But there ya go.
