I'm trying to get Dawn of War: Soulstorm to run on Ubuntu 9.10 with Play on Linux. The game installs fine, but when I actually go to run it it becomes slow, with bad graphics. The intros will play just fine, but once I get to the menus the game gets sluggish, and if I try to click on a menu option it will freeze.

I know this game is well supported; I've had it running on 9.04 just fine. I've tried it at all the resolution/color depth options available, and with and without Compiz enabled on the desktop. Has anyone gotten it to work recently?
