Hello, I have been a Linux (eeebuntu 3.01 netbook remix) user for a few days and I love it! I just found out about PlayOnLinux so I am happy to have found a program like this. Now, onto the unusual issue I have.
I am trying to install the game called Ragnarok Battle Offline.

I do a manual install with POL (PlayOnLinux) and setup the prefixes and stuff. I then go onto the next step to choose the installer. After POL executes the installer, nothing happens. I waited about 5-6 minutes before canceling the POL installation. 30 seconds after I canceled the installation, the installer for RBO (Ragnarok Battle Offline) pops up. I go through the installation and it installs, but after that, I realized that I had no way of executing the game since I did not create a shortcut for launching it with POL. So I restarted the POL game installer and created a new prefix and selected the RBO installation file. Same thing happens, nothing pops up. I waited longer this time 20-30 minutes, then I got fed up and canceled the POL installation again. Within a minute of ending the POL game installation, the RBO installer comes up again.
I am curious as to why this happens. The kind of solution I am looking for is to make the RBO installer pop up while I use POL Installation or find a way to create a shortcut to the game executable in the POL menu.
