I installed Need for Speed Most Wanted with the provided script and patched 1.3
Also I have a suitable speed.exe that works.

When I play the game I get only sound and no video.

I have Fedora 11, P4 2.0GHz, 640 MB Ram, Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti4200 128MB

Any ideas how to get some video in the game.

In windows it worked with this hardware.

I can see movies playing but the game is unplayable. I did install patch 1.3 and it looks the same, all I can see is white blank screen and nfs logo in the top right corner (but can hear sounds in background while pressing arrow left/right or enter):

No bug report matching your problem reported in AppDB.

Be sure to use latest Graphic Driver aviable and also note that if you're using ATi/AMD or Intell GMA card, the problem will mostly come from the very bad driver aviable for Linux. Only Nvidia owners have an almost as good as windows driver (perhaps even better).

Game and Patch POL installer were updated to match current POL standard.

I have a Mobility Radeon X1400 with kernel modesetting and opensource ati driver, glxinfo shows Direct Rendering set to On. I'm preety sure my 3d settings are allright, also some 3d games, like OpenArena, work just fine. Here's my system info taken from POL:

Your system: GNU/Linux
Your kernel: Linux 2.6.35-gentoo-r4
System language: pl_PL.UTF-8
Your username: radekk
Your computer's name: ra
Your graphics card: Mesa DRI R300 (RV515 7145) 20090101 x86/MMX/SSE2 TCL DRI2
Your distribution:
Your distribution version:
Current Wine version: wine-1.3.7
Wine version used by PlayOnLinux: wine-1.3.7
Free space on your hard drives:
System plików rozm. użyte dost. %uż. zamont. na
/dev/sda4 36G 29G 5,2G 85% /
udev 10M 248K 9,8M 3% /dev
/dev/sda5 72G 31G 41G 44% /mnt/ntfs
shm 1012M 0 1012M 0% /dev/shm

Also I tried to experiment with 3d settings on regedit, according to these comments here:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=8714

Tried OffScreenRenderingMode: fbo, pbuffer and backbuffer

With setting this value to fbo i can see some textures (cars and track with some buildings together with speed indicator) but no world textures and lighting, half of menu textures is gone as well
