First of all Hi to all of you and I just want to say: thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I like POL more than Cedega, Wine-Doors - heck, there's a good chance I like POL more than CrossOver!

I think it would be nice if there's an option to run "winecfg" when you right-click on an application in "Manage wine versions -> My Applications" window;

Presently, whenever you select an application from main POL window and then choose "Configure this application -> Configure wine" it runs a "winecfg" for a Wine version selected in "Settings -> Environment" window.

Unless I'm missing something, the only way to start "winecfg" from Wine version you choose for a particular application (let's say I choose to install some application with Wine 0.9.53) is to choose that version in "Settings -> Environment" window and then run "Configure this application -> Configure wine"...

I think it would be better if there's an option to run "winecfg" when you right-click, or even better, when we double-click on the application entry in "My Applications" window which will start the "winecfg" from Wine version we choose for that application...

Like I said, maybe I'm missing something and in that case I'm sorry for posting unnecessary suggestions...

Also, I think there's a bug in POL - again I'm sorry if I missed something obvious - Recently I choose to install 0.9.5.3 version of Wine. When Wine installation was completed, I selected the 0.9.53 version as default version in POL and then I went to install some game - Gothic I to be precise.

Then I choose manual installation, I've created a new prefix and when I choose to configure a new prefix, nothing happens - "winecfg" wouldn't start at all; If I skip this step and go straight to "Please choose the file to execute" Installer won't start and Setup just flies through...

If I choose "System" Wine version or any 1.0 version of Wine, game installs perfectly; then I select Wine version I want for Gothic (0.9.53) and everything is just fine.

I guess if I write a Gothic installation script, install process will went just fine, but I'm just used to install applications manually - besides I still don't know how to write POL scripts. Nevertheless, I like manual installation and even if I knew how to write POL scripts I'll opt for manual installation anyway.

Again, maybe I'm missing something and I hope someone will clarify my findings. Greetings to y'all and sorry for my bad English.

Yes it would be nice.

You're not the only one. He wrote script on the basis of my script and it's good. If you wish you could also pick one of the scripts in database and modify it.

Moreover, you can read our documentation ;-). I think learning how to write a basic PlayOnLinux script is pretty easy.

I know it's not that hard to write POL scripts I just didn't have much time to try it for myself. I just took a quick look at documentation and it looks pretty straightforward - if I "stuck" at some point I know where to ask for help... :)
