I have had the memdump issues with sims 3 so I I downgraded my version of wine from 1.1.23, but playonlinux still says under "/.PlayOnLinux/WineVersions/" that my wine version is 1.1.23-SIMS3 not the downgraded version, any suggestion as to how to fix that?

Edit: (I forgot my manners at the door : / )

Thank you for your time and any assistance your willing to give.

is it really that hard to start a post with "hi/hello", to finish it with a "please/thanks..."?

If there is a problem, fill out complaint form and place it in an envelope addressed to the name of the hospital in which you were born....

Good, now I can answer to your demand for assistance (yes, I was waiting for this to help you, I'm wicked, isn't it :p)

So when you say "I downgraded my version of wine from 1.1.23", you mean that you downgraded it with you package manager ?
Because if you did, it wasn't necessary. Indeed, to set a specific version of Wine to be used for a specific application, you should use the WineVersion tool (in POL, do Tools > Manage wine versions). I won't explain you in details how it works 'cause its use is pretty straightforward (at least, it seems pretty straightforward to me).

Yes you are wicked, though its good you waited, I never like "demanding" for assistance seeing as how your not paid, and easy to forget that you have better things to do then answer my simple questions. again I appreciated your help :)

So...Lets just pretend that this was test to make sure you guys are up on your stuff, and that I really didn't ask a question that easy and wait a week to get a response to something that I could prob just figure out myself if I took a min to scroll through the menus :P

again cant say thanks enough, you guys rock!

Sincerely,
Anthony
