Yesterday I downloaded the free version of PoP Sands Of Time,that consist in a zip that contains a .txt file,a .html (spam) file and a setup.exe . How can use it? I tried to use this command


mount --bind ~/PrinceOfPersiaSetup /media/cdrom0

but,when i try to install it,PoL says that can't find the cdrom...

You will need an Ubi.com account and you must live in the U.S. to play the game.

You can go here and copy that script to a file (starting from #!/bin/bash to exit) then you should remove

then you should start installing PoP by pointing that script in POL (Tools->Run-a-non-official-script)

I don't guarantee if it'll be working because that may be other version of PoP.

A notice:

after I Installed Pop Warrior Within,it didn't start...after some troubleshooting,I found that PoL search the .exe in
/home/demon3/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/PoP-WarriorWithin/drive_c/Program Files/Ubisoft/Prince of Persia Warrior Within

but,installing the italian version,the right folder is
/home/demon3/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/PoP-WarriorWithin/drive_c/Program Files/Ubisoft/Prince of Persia Spirito Guerriero

...I fixed the problem changing the name of the folder

Always in "Warrior Withing"...at the first start,there is a riepilogative screen with pc details...I've got the green check sign at every point,but the "star the game!" button isn't selectable...I tried to close the screen and re-start the game,but now there is a "impossible run the game:unknow error" window...



edit:now I can re-lauch the game,but the riepilogative screen came back...with "sound card" non rilevated... o_O

Could you be clearer. Do you install Prince Of Persia - Sands of Time or Prince Of Persia - Warrior Within?

Both...the first question was about SoT, the other focus are about WW
