I try to install any aplication from playonlinux but it can't
This is what ocurrs from a console:
$ wine --version
wine-1.0.1
$ playonlinux
PlayOnLinux v3.4

What I do from playonlinux is:
click on install button, select a program to install, for example "7-Zip", click on Aply button. The window for select a program closes and nothing ocurrs aparently.
My operating system is:
Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex
gnome 2.24.1
wine-1.0.1
