- Name of the Distribution (And it's version)
Ubuntu Hardy 8.10

- Name of the software and it's version
Wine 1.1.17, and PlayOnLinux 3.4

-desktop
Gnome

- Errors from the software.
In POL when I click on install, then select a program to install, then click apply... it goes back to the main POL screen. Nothing happens.

Here's the error:
/home/darryl/.PlayOnLinux/install: line 56: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"'
/home/darryl/.PlayOnLinux/install: line 58: syntax error: unexpected end of file

-computer configuration.
I'm on an HP Pavilion. It's an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+, 2 gigs of RAM, 500 GB hard drive.

The problem is with installing script. POL adds unnecessarily
"Table 'playonli.playonlinux_script_telechargements' doesn't exist "

To solve this do:
1) in POL do what you do to install steam
2) then go to "~/.PlayOnLinux/"
for dkoster it would be:
"/home/darryl/.PlayOnLinux/"

3) edit "install" file
4) remove
"Table 'playonli.playonlinux_script_telechargements' doesn't exist "

5) save file
Now the icon of install should change automatically

6) In POL do Tools-> Run a non-official script
7) select "install" file which is in your "~/.PlayOnLinux/" directory
for dkoster it would be:

"/home/darryl/.PlayOnLinux/install"

If everything done correct Steam install script should start.
Tested on Fedora 10 i386 POL 3.4

For other install script do the same.

Thank you for your help. I installed Ubuntu 8.10, and the problem went away.
