i have a November 2023 Apple M3 Pro MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.7. I downloaded PlayOnMac 4.3.3. I right-clicked PlayOnMac.app and selected Open. There I asked to Run the app. No error message, but nothing seems to happen. No PlayOnMac window opens. PlayOnMac is not at the left of my menubar (top left of screen). PlayOnMac is not in my taskbar (bottom of screen). Is PlayOnMac 4.3.3 known to work on M3 silicon under Sonoma? Or known NOT to work? Please help -- thanks!

P.S. I am running Sophos anti-virus.

I'm running PlayOnMac version 4.4.3 on MacBook Air M3 Sonoma 14.6 and it works well. I'm not running Sophos anti-virus though.

Judging by the homepage, version 4.3.3 is for MacOS before 10.15.

For future reference, I've been using UTM emulator for a class project that needs a Linux environment; by downloading it on their website (simply click Download) you can get it for free (from the Appstore is paid, don't). It works wonderfully on Mac's M1 chip https://100001.onl/
