Hi everyone,

I have a problem with PlayOnMac 4.4.3 and macOS 13.3.1 Ventura. I want to run the (pretty old) application "SmartGraph 2" which is used to read the data from dataloggers. The application and the dataloggers are so old, the dataloggers have a COM port and I use a serial port to USB cable.

I don't use the dataloggers very often and I bought them when I was using Windows 7. The software "SmartGraph 2" worked perfectly fine and I had no problems back then. When I was switching to macOS I needed a solution for "SmartGraph 2" and I was able to get everything to run on my Mac with PlayOnMac. For the serial port to USB cable I needed a driver and after installing it and "connecting" it with the help of WineHQs User Guide everything worked like a charm.

And now comes the problem: Suddenly it doesn't work anymore. "SmartGraph 2" starts normally but when I want to read out the data from the datalogger "SmartGraph 2" crashed and I get an error from POM that there is a problem in main. [I'll provide a crash report next time I use it.] Since I think I haven't changed anything important except from making OS updates I thought I can try it on my MacBook Air which is a bit older and therefore doesn't have the most up-to-date OS installed. Interestingly I get the same error there but the OS is macOS 12 Montery.

It lookes like that the problem has to do with "Unable to create plug in interface for USB" but I'm absolutely clueless and would appreciate any help.
