Hi, I have enjoyed playing L4D2 in the opening of this year, utilising Play On Mac to bypass the 32-bit steam problem. However, by march-ish, L4D2 started running without any sound, and nothing I could do would remedy it. Later that month, Play On Mac packed up, making it so that whenever I would attempt to launch steam, the bugger would not appear, despite Play On Mac telling me it was running, then seconds later a screen would pop up stating that I did not have the WINE Prefix needed to run steam.
The Homies are coming over in febuary, and they havent experienced L4D2, something I wish they would, and this is severely hampering that.
Do I need help, or am I just being thick, I'm not very compouter-savvy?
Edit: This is the message that appears when I try to launch steam; "Error in POL_Wine_AutoSetVersionEnv
WINEPREFIX is not set!"
