Hello. I am struggling with the following problem. I have a MacBook Air M1 laptop. The latest version of PlayOnMac is installed. I launched one of the Windows applications. It connects to a remote radio scanner and plays the audio transmission. Unfortunately, there is no way I can make this application play audio in mp3 format. Only sound works if I have low quality G729 codec enabled. Unfortunately, then the quality of the transmitted sound is terrible. I tried to install from the option in the PlayOnMac menu the Windows 10 Codec Pack where the mp3 codec was. Unfortunately, still to no avail. Is there any other method to play mp3s? I searched the forum but did not find any specific solution. I will be grateful for any advice on the topic.

Maybe I'm just in denial, but these minor imperfections aren't very convincing. Other factors can contribute to poor music listening experience such as bad speakers, RF noise, or even environmental ambiance. You might say these factors are nearly negligible, but then again, so are the factors mentioned in this article. If you've ever listened to the original source of some song, be it CD or LP, then you've gotten your experience https://9apps.ooo/ . If you know the trade-offs to being able to compress music from CDs to your iPod, then you'll know the expectations of the quality; but if one is oblivious then they won't tell the difference and enjoy it for what it is, regardless of source (128kbps MP3 or CD): music.
