I am currently trying to install steins;gate using playonmac: https://www.playonmac.com/en/app-1988-SteinsGate.html
however, i recieve this error after creating the virtual drive while trying to download vcrun10
"Error in POL_Download_Resource
error during download! (1 attempt)"
I assume this is due to a broken link to the download, and it also occurs when i try to download vcrun10 standalone outside of the installer.
After troubleshooting some, i created a blank virtual disk and attempted a manual install. the installer i used came with the ability to install vcrun10 on its own so i was able to install vcrun. the problem then occured when i was asked to "insert disk1 with data.bin". I have the file of data.bin itself but no disk or a disk drive to use. i tinker around with the drive settings in wine but never got the wizard to recognize the file.
Using:
Macbook air 2015
8Gb Ram
1.6 Ghz dual core Intel i5
Macos montery 12.1
wine version: system
POM version: 4.4.3
