When installing Microsoft Office 2010 32-bit, Hebrew language, the installer was unable to download dotnetfx.exe. I continued on with the installation.
A little later, it said that the hash value of WindowsXP-KB975337-x86-ENU.exe did not match, so it failed. I continued on with the installation.
POL concluded the installation process and I can run Word, and also Outlook (i.e., I can use the calendar, which is what I need the most) although not everything works.
The issue that most perturbs me is I cannot type Hebrew correctly in Word. The word order gets reversed and the characters look jumbled although recognizable. Hebrew is a right-to-left language. But if I open a Hebrew document, the text in it displays properly.
Perhaps the errors I encountered are related to the language issues?
And how could I correct the errors?
