.Net install and running program that does not have an installer

Going insane. Please help. Newbie at wine too.

I am on a M1 Mac. Maybe all my issues.

I am attempting to run a program that requires .net. Wine shows that .net is installed, but the program is unable to find it.

Here is the github for the program I want to run. https://github.com/Perfare/AssetStudio

I was not able to install .Net the normal way due to now being able to download. Why is that a thing? I get the same errors on trying to install Mono.

So I installed .net 4.7.2 by going to micellaneous and running the offline installer from there. It said the install was successful.

I check add/remove programs and it show there as well. https://imgur.com/a/ypS76Sk

Did a Windows reboot for giggles. I know on a real box you have to.

Copied the programs files to c:\programs\AssestStudio.

Clicked Genral tab -> Make a new shortcut from this virtual drive.

Program showed up created the shortcut.

First thing to know : https://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/Manual_Installations

I don't know why, but .Net often fails to install. Perhaps you may try with Crossover sofware.
