Black screen on steam, I can't see my library

Steam launches and works except the area where usually the games are now is black

I installed steam using playonmac but when I start it I get a black screen like this

I'm on macos big sur and using a macbook air laptop. Is there any fix for this?

Click "View" then click "Small Mode" and you should see your games, you can't buy games from there, so you'll have to use regular steam to get games, then download them using small mode on playonmac steam. I hope this helps you.

Hello! How do use regular steam to get windows games and then download them using small mode? I try to download games via Safari, but I got the message that this game only be downloaded using Steam on Windows. Thanks in advance.

maybe add this to your arguments? should work

 

wine steam.exe -no-browser +open steam://open/minigameslist
