Hello, I'm trying to install oblivion, and it all installs and runs perfectly except for directx9. This is because in the script that installs it, it references a link that is no longer valid (microsoft has taken down directx9 feb 2010). I try to copy the script and change the file location, but this causes issues. Any advice?

A workaround is to copy the directx9 file into the folder 'ressources' (see: https://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/The_PlayOnLinux_Filesystem ).

Hi, thanks for the response. I have directx_Jun2010_redist.exe and the dxfullsetup folder in ressources, but I'm still getting this error message:

0024:err:module:open_builtin_file failed to load .so lib "/Users/mememe/Desktop/PlayOnMac.app/Contents/Resources/unix/wine/lib32on64/wine/x3daudio1_7.dll.so"

0024:err:module:import_dll Loading library X3DAudio1_7.dll (which is needed by L"C:\\GOG Games\\Legend of Grimrock II\\grimrock2.exe") failed (error c000007a).

Is there a way to resolve this? x3daudio1_7.dll.so is in that location. I've read that installing FAudio may help, but I haven't found a way to do that yet.

Thank you for any advice you can give.
