Hi all,

so, after two days I finally managed to install Call of Duty 1 via Playonlinux. Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem to work:

Whenever I try to launch CoDSP.exe via playonlinux, i get a "Buffer Overrun" error message. Now I googled for a bit and found some tips for running it via command:

__GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700

or

MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2010

I added these commands in the miscellaneous tab of the specific cod-drive. Still i get that error which prevents me from playing the game at all. Does anybody have an idea how to solve that?

I'm running:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.10.42-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx
Memory: 6.8 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics

with the "video-linux" driver of Manjaro and general proprietary drivers.

I assume this has something to do with the mobile vega chip, but I have no clue on how to change opengl stuff...

Regards,
