Hello Everyone,

I am having some issues using POL 4.3.4 on Kubuntu 20.04.

I am trying to install LTspice XVII, a 64-bit application.

I am setting up accordingly the virtual drive.

During the installation POL many times says that it crashed, but I can continue, and eventually the app is installed.

One feature of the LTspice application does not work, when it is trying to reach out on the internet to update itself.

It used to work when I was using Kubuntu 18.04!

Lookint at the log file there is a line mantioning that this is a 32-bit prefix even though it was set up as a 64-bit virtual drive.

There is also an error: <wine: WINEARCH set to win64 but '/home/peter/.PlayOnLinux//wineprefix/LTspice' is a 32-bit installation.>

When looking into configuring the app the available wince version is simply "system" even though I downloaded two other version of wine as well, they do not show up in that list. When looking under the "tools" menu the downloaded wine versions are there...

I enclose the log file.

Any help, explanation what is going on?

Thanks, Peter

Just a quick update.

I managed to install the 64-bit version of LTspice, it works, including the update.

The key was to select a different wine version during the installation and not under configuration.

In this case I could select wine 6.0 version, and it also showed up later under the configuration when I looked.

I wonder if this (that it only works installing this way) is a feature or a bug ;-)

Thanks, Peter
